GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Upstate Animal Rescue Foundation of South Carolina is hosting an adoption event through the weekend.

The event will be held at the PetSmart on Woodruff Road in Greenville.

Kelley Blair with Upstate Animal Rescue said the organization is having to unexpectedly vacate their property and they need to find foster or adoption homes for 14 dogs.

Blair said anyone who agrees to foster a dog would be provided with indoor crates, food and medical care for the dog.

The organization said it has been helping animals for 30 years and does not plan to stop. Upstate Animal Rescue will become a foster program instead.

Anyone interested in adopting or fostering can contact Kelley Blair at Kblair01017@yahoo.com.

The Pet Smart adoption event goes until Sunday.
