PIEDMONT, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County sheriff said a suspect is sought following a bank robbery in Piedmont on Friday.

According to the sheriff's office, the incident happened at First Community Bank at 11000 Anderson Road around 4:50 p.m.

Deputies described the suspect as an armed man wearing all black, about 6 feet to 6'2" tall with his face covered.

Deputies said he entered the bank armed with a handgun and demanded money, before leaving on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
