Clemson hosts NCAA baseball regionals, opening game June 1

CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Clemson University was chosen as one of the 16 regional hosts for the 2018 NCAA College Baseball tournament starting on June 1. 

According to the NCAA baseball selection show on Monday, Clemson will take on Morehead State on Friday at 6 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in the Clemson regional. 

If the Tigers are to defeat Morehead State, they will move on to play the winning team of the other bracket: Vanderbilt and St. John's. 

The Commodores will play St. John's at 12 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Friday, June 1. 

Clemson regional ticket sales are available for purchase on the athletic ticket office online portal. 

All-session tickets are available for IPTAY members now.

On Wednesday at 8 a.m., all-session and single session tickets will be available for all fans offered at the following prices: 

• All-session ticket - $60 (Games 1-6 and a potential Game 7)

• Single-session adult ticket - $15

• Single-session youth (age 17 & under) ticket - $10

• Single-session general admission ticket - $10 (only available if all reserved seats sell out)
