EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The School District of Pickens County said no one was seriously hurt when a special needs school bus overturned Thursday.

The bus ran off the road into a ditch and ended up on its side, troopers said.

District spokesperson John Eby said four people were on board: the driver, a bus companion and two students from Dacusville Elementary. The children and driver were wearing seat belts.

Eby said one of the adults was transported for medical evaluation.

The children have been reunited with their parents.

Troopers said the bus driver was cited with driving too fast for conditions.
