GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

It was a big day for one Upstate kindergartner. Olivia Rebman graduated from kindergarten on Friday.

The death of Olivia's father Trooper Daniel Rebman left a gaping hole in the hearts of his family, but thanks to his colleagues, the kindergarten graduate had all the support she needed on her special day.

Trooper Rebman's wife Michelle and Back the Blue SC shared photos with us from the ceremony. What we saw, truly warmed our hearts here at FOX Carolina.

Seven of Rebman's fellow SC Highway Patrol troopers were in attendance to support Olivia at the ceremony.

Michelle shared with us just what that kind gesture meant to her:

“Our Highway Patrol family has been there since the very first moment. They spent time grieving with us and supporting us during the worst days of our lives. Once the funeral was over, their support has never stopped. They have done yard work, fixed appliances, attended soccer games, and they continue to show up for our family for every major event in our lives. My husband became a trooper in part because he wanted that bond, that brotherhood, and they truly honor him by the way they care for us.”
