The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday that a suspect has been charged with murder in a June 3 nightclub shooting that claimed one man's life and left another hurt.

The shooting happened at Club No Limits on Hayne Street.

Deputies say they were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2:50 a.m.

When they arrived on scene, deputies found a man under a vehicle who had been shot and did not have a pulse. First responders worked to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead on scene.

The coroner identified the victim as Tyrone Lamont Brown, 36 of Spartanburg.

Deputies said a second victim survived and showed up at the emergency room with injuries.

On Monday, deputies said they arrested Marcus Leigh Fernanders on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Fernanders is being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
