GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Firefighters said multiple condos were involved in a fire on Monday afternoon.

The Berea Fire Department said around 12:15 p.m., they were called to Harbor Town condos on Spinnaker Court. When firefighters arrived on scene, they said flames were ascending into the roof of one of the units.

The fire was ultimately contained to two units. Both had people inside but they smelled smoke and were able to escape.

Firefighters said the fire was initially reported as having possible entrapment, but there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Parker Fire and Duncan Chapel Fire were also assisting at the scene.
