Deputies: Man arrested after making 'threat of violence' against Henderson Co. Courthouse

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said a man was arrested after making a "threat of violence" against the Henderson County Courthouse. 

The sheriff's office said they were notified of the threat Thursday morning. 

Deputies said 43-year-old Tracy Paul Brevard was arrested for making the threat. Brevard was charged with making felonious threats against executive, legislative, or court officers, the sheriff's office said. 

Brevard is currently being held at the Henderson County Jail.
