Deputies in Georgia made an unexpected discovery during an inmate body cavity search on Thursday.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo on Facebook showing a bag of pencils, pens, and other items.

The sheriff’s office said the items were found in the "birth canal" of a woman who was transported to the jail from a state prison.

“We search all of our inmates, no matter where they come from,” deputies said in the post. “This morning a female inmate came to us from Emmanuel County State Pen. Per policy we searched her and pulled this out of her, uhhhh birth canal. In addition to what you can see here there were 7 pair of tweezers and numerous bobbie pins. You cannot make this up.”
