Some rain returns this weekend ahead of slightly higher rain chance to start next week.
The best coverage of scattered showers and storms on Saturday will again be across western NC, but a few of those showers or storms could drift into the Upstate toward the afternoon. Afternoon highs will be well into the 80s to near 90 degrees for some.
Sunday brings a slightly better coverage of scattered showers to the Upstate on Sunday, but still many areas will stay dry yet warm and humid.
Monday and Tuesday of next week still offer up the better chances of scattered showers and storms, primarily during the afternoon. The rest of the week looks very identical to mid-June – isolated afternoon storms with afternoon highs creeping toward 90 degrees and overnight lows near 70 degrees.
