ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The family of a missing man with a history of Alzheimer's said he has been found.

Deputies said 80-year-old Larry Kowalski was reported missing on Wednesday morning. Kowalski's roommate awoke to find him missing from the home, deputies said.

According to the sheriff's office, Kowalski was last seen at his residence on Oak Hill Drive around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The sheriff's office said Kowalski has a medical history of Alzheimer's.

Just before 5 p.m., family confirmed Kowalski was found in North Charleston.

FOX Carolina spoke with Larry's daughter, who said North Charleston police got calls about an erratic driver. When police pulled the driver over, they discovered it was Larry Kowalski.

According to his daughter, Larry thought it was 1965 and was very disoriented. He was treated for dehydration and is in good spirits now.
