Gateway Access Road will be shut down for 60 days to complete the tie-in of the new road to Roper Mountain Road as part of the Gateway Project.

The road closure will begin on Tuesday, June 19.

During the road's closure, fill operations will take place along with a new curb and gutter, new sidewalks and new asphalt placement.

Drivers will still be able to access Gateway Supply and the H.A.L.T. businesses from Garlington Road. There will be heavy construction traffic in the area.

Periodic flagging operations will also take place on Roper Mountain Road both day and night during this time.
