EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Pickens County coroner said a woman has died after being hit by a car in Easley Monday night.

59-year-old Claudia Dawn McGilvery was crossing East Main Street when the coroner said she was struck by a car around 10:30 p.m.

McGilvery, of Taberwood Road, Easley, passed away at the hospital Tuesday morning.

Easley police are investigating the collision.
