GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Top-rated chefs from across the country and overseas will bring their best cuisine to Greenville in September.

The 13th annual euphoria Food, Wine, and Music Festival kicks off on Thursday, September 20 and wraps up Sunday, September 23, featuring events each day that show the skills and taste of the involved chefs.

Proceeds from the festival go to Local Boys Do Good, which has partnered with Harvest Hope Food Bank, Camperdown Academy, and Feed & Seed for the 2018 festival.

The following chefs will be featured in this year's festivities:

  • Sean Gray and partner Su Wong Ruiz of Momofuku Ko in New York City
  • Matthew Accarrino of SPQR in San Francisco
  • Brandon Jew of Mister Jiu's in San Francisco
  • Karen and John Shields of Smyth in Chicago
  • Vivien Durand of Prince Noir in Bordeaux, France

The chefs are all rated by the Michelin Guide, which has rated establishments and their offerings since the early 1900s. Today, the Michelin Guide has rated more than 30,000 establishments across four continents.

The festivities kick off on September 20, with Accarrino taking the helm at Cycling with Chefs.

Gray and Ruiz will then team up with chef Sean Brock at the Michelin Takeover dinner, being held at Husk Greenville on September 21.

On September 22, Accarrino returns for the Upstate Pairing at Stella's Southern Brasserie.

Also on the 22nd, Jew, Durand, and the Shields will team up for the multi-course dinner event Seeing Stars: A Michelin-Starred Dinner at Soby's.

The festivities wrap up on the 23rd with the Healthy Lunchtime Throwdown, requiring contest entrants to create healthy, delicious, and economic recipes. Finalists will be selected by a panel of judges to participate in a live cooking challenge on euphoria's main cooking stage with the Michelin chefs.

The winner of that contest will receive a prize package from euphoria and have their recipe added to the Greenville County Schools menu for the 2018-2019 school year.

The euphoria festival has been critically acclaimed by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, USA Today, Oprah Magazine, and The New York Times.
