ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The U.S. Marshal's Service said a fugitive wanted on several charges in Virginia had eluded police for months before running out of places to run in Anderson County on Thursday.

Sheriff Chad McBride confirmed on Tuesday that his deputies and Marshals were tracking Daniel Earl Webb, wanted out of Buckingham County in Virginia for conspiracy, dangerous drugs, and weapons offenses. McBride's office posted a photo of Webb's mug shot on Facebook and asked people in the area to be on the lookout

On Wednesday, the U.S. Marshal's Service said Webb may have left the Upstate and is possibly hiding in the Midlands or Lowcountry. However, Thursday morning, they said a tip about him possibly being hunkered down in Anderson County led to an arrest.

Webb was arrested around 10 a.m. Thursday at an address on Smith Drive near Campbell Road in the Pelzer area, deputies said.

He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans: the same clothing description that Marshals gave when they began searching for Webb on Tuesday.

Deputies with the ACSO said their SWAT Team, Special Operations Team, U.S. Marshals, and a SLED team were all involved in the capture.

A viewer said law enforcement vehicles began arriving overnight and the SWAT team arrived Thursday morning.

There were no reports of injuries during the arrest.

In a news release issued after Webb's arrest, U.S. Marshals said Webb's "running days are over and he is awaiting extradition proceedings at the Anderson County Detention Center."

“Fast feet may have helped Webb elude police since June, but he failed to realize law enforcement partnerships span near and far.” US Marshal Thomas Griffin said in a news release. “We appreciate the long hours our local, state, and federal partners bestowed upon us for this case.”

Webb is also no stranger to the Upstate; in 2015, he was charged in connection to a shooting, kidnapping, and two-county chase.

His rap sheet in the Upstate continues: in 2014, he and Donald Fleming lead authorities on another manhunt after stealing ATMs in Greenville County.
