Police: Man accused of punching two women, including pregnant victim who was hit in stomach

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Union man was arrested after police said he assaulted two women on August 3.

The assault happened on Sardis Road.

According to incident reports, Latevian Brannon, 26, and the mother of his child were in a dispute over him taking the child when Brannon is accused of punching the victim in her head and stomach. The victim is six-months pregnant.

Another woman got involved to try and break up the fight and told police that Brannon punched her as well.

Brannon was arrested on Wednesday.

According to online jail records he is charged with domestic violence second degree and assault and battery. His bond was also revoked for charges of forgery, possession of a controlled substance near a school, and a drug trafficking offense.
