GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Thick fog on Monday morning slowed down motorists during the commute and delayed several flights at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.FOX Carolina meteorologist Andy Wood said that visibilities in many locations across the western Carolinas were as low as a quarter-mile early Monday.The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for much of the area until 10 a.m.Wood said that the fog will begin to lift around 10 a.m. and that sunshine should return by the afternoon. He said that temperatures will rise into the upper 50s for the mountains and Upstate.A chance for rain is in the forecast for Tuesday, along with high temperatures in the lower 60s.
