Suspects in Greenville taco truck drug ring appear in bond court
GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Multiple members of a group accused of trafficking drugs out of an Upstate restaurant and food truck appeared in bond court on Thursday afternoon
Attorney General Alan Wilson says the 34 defendants, known as the “Los Banditos”, are collectively facing 124 charges.
AG Wilson says it all took place at the Los Primos restaurant and taco truck right here in Greenville. The spot became a regional hub where meth and cocaine were trafficked for the Mexican cartel, according to investigators, and became a massive operation.
We’re told the investigation estimates the ring accounted for more than a ton of meth seized in the Carolinas and Georgia.
