Tri-County Technical College to reopen following “potential threat”

PENDLETON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Tri-County Technical College announced that its campuses will reopen on Monday, May 30, with limited access due to a recent threat.
School officials said that based on conversations with law enforcement, they believe the threats were intended to cause a disruption. However, officials added that they intend to proceed with caution. They plan to limit access to buildings on campus and close some entrances to vehicle traffic. In addition, Tri-County Police and other members of law enforcement will be at every campus.
On Friday, Tri-County Technical College said on its website that all the facilities were closed due to a “potential threat.”
