Greenville Zoo sloth encounters put on hold
GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville Zoo announced they are putting a hold on a program allowing guests to interact with a sloth as they work out some details.
The Zoo announced on Tuesday that guests would have a chance to have close-up encounters with two-toed sloths Lyla and Lincoln.
For $395, a group of six people could have a 40-minute sloth experience that includes education from a zoo staff member and a chance to feed a sloth.
Now, the zoo said they have decided to revise the experience and work through some details to provide the best possible experience for guests. The interest form for the program has temporarily been removed from their website.
We will update this article once new plans are announced.
