A few spotty showers are possible as we head into the evening but the heaviest of the rain is out of here. We even get peeks of sunshine breaking out for areas mainly west of I-26 through the later part of the day. Overnight, a few spotty showers are possible, mainly in the mountains and watch for areas of fog to build in across area.

While the rain is coming to an end, parts of the mountains picked up more than 2″ of rain. Be sure to use caution and watch for flooded roadways, especially around rivers and creeks where the banks could be over flowing.

We improve as we head into the end of the long weekend. Memorial Day is the nicest day which is good news for all the outdoor ceremonies honoring the day. We trend warmer with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. A few scattered showers are possible, mainly in the mountains with a small chance for an isolated shower in the Upstate. Look for a mix of sun and clouds through the day, giving us all a chance to get outside before the shortened work week.
