DUNCAN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Department on Transportation (SCDOT) said I-85 is re-opened following a vehicle fire caused an oil spill Tuesday morning.

According to the SCDOT, the fire took place on the interstate heading south near exit 63 before 7 a.m.

The road was backed up for hours, but was re-opened later in the afternoon at around 3 p.m.
