Coroner identifies 3 Chesnee High School students from deadly single-car crash
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the victims of a crash that left three people dead and one injured on Friday afternoon.
Troopers said the crash happened along Fairfield Road near Henderson Road at around 3:38 p.m.
According to troopers, the driver was traveling along Fairfield Road when they went off the left side of the road and hit a ditch before hitting several trees.
The driver was taken to the hospital with injuries following the crash. However, the three other passengers inside the vehicle passed away at the scene.
On October 3, the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 18-year-old Jeffrey Scott Wallace, 17-year-old Vladimir Matthew Rybinski, and Vitaliy Gregoriy Rybinski. A pastor who was at Chesnee High on Monday to provide counseling for students confirmed that the victims in the crash were students at the school
