Evan Denton

Evan Denton started at KWQC in January 2022 as a reporter.

Previously, he worked as a multimedia journalist and fill-in sports anchor at WQOW in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, covering local athletes preparing for the Olympics and residents recovering from severe storm damage.

Evan studied journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. While at Northwestern, Evan was a part of the school's student-run television station, Northwestern News Network, and served as one of the station's sports reporters, anchors, and eventually sports director.

A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Evan considers himself to be a die-hard Michigan Wolverines fan. Go Blue!

In his free time, Evan enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring new areas, FaceTiming his parents' golden retriever, Sienna, and watching sports and throwback Vine compilations whenever possible.
