Sports broadcasting took me from mid-Missouri to west Texas and then to northeast Kansas. Along the way, I stood in the locker room at Hardrock Stadium in Miami as the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV. I was at the Superdome in New Orleans as the confetti rained down on the Kansas Jayhawks NCAA Tournament winning team. I have been blessed to tell several meaningful stories. Stories of triumph and tribulation. I look forward to spreading the good word on the Upstate athletes and teams.

My most memorable story came when I lived in West Texas. A local athlete changed his number in honor of his little sister. She was a sensational young pitcher that had tragically passed away at a young age. I'll never forget talking with the family. That story was particularly powerful for me on a personal level.

On the weekends, I love to: Watch football! The weekend was made for us to cherish football.

My favorite movie is: Good Will Hunting

My favorite kind of music is: Coldplay, show tunes, Juice Wrld

My favorite food is: A really good burger, steak and pizza. Loooooove food.

Hidden talents? I'm a Fine Arts kid at heart. I used to play the trumpet, sing and act. I still like to sing.

Hobbies? Fitness, video games

Pets? My fur son Oliver. I adopted him from an animal shelter and I've turned into a cat dad.

Children? Someday.
