Taylor Martin

Taylor Martin is a multimedia journalist and spring 2022 graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Journalism & Emerging Media. She joined WRDW/WAGT in October of 2022.

At KSU, Taylor crafted stories that impacted her campus with KSU News Now. She also wrote for the KSU chapter of the online women’s publication, Her Campus. As a senior, Taylor told the story of a Ukrainian-American student who was facing anxiety concerning the safety of their family in the height of the Russia and Ukraine conflict. ​Her love for interviewing and public speaking stems from her involvement in pageantry which has helped leverage her into her career as a multimedia journalist.

Growing up in the metro Atlanta area, Taylor has always had a passion for broadcast news and knew that one day, she would be on the opposite side of the screen.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, baking banana nut bread, actively participating in her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and of course, competing in pageants. She is excited to tell the stories of those in the CSRA and meet new people along the way.
