The Greenville Drive and its partners in the Upstate Veterans Alliance invite area veterans and the general public to join us for a free, family-friendly Veterans Day weekend celebration honoring S.C. residents who have served our country.  The event, which will be held at Fluor Field on Sunday, November 10, will feature a special military program and vehicle display, fireworks, aerial flyovers by the Warbirds Flyover Team, a demonstration by the Special Forces Association Flyover Team, and a concert by country star Darryl Worley, who will perform many of his songs, including #1 hits “I Miss My Friend,” “Awful, Beautiful Life” and “Have You Forgotten?” South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette will offer the keynote address. In addition to honoring veterans, the event is designed to connect area veterans and their families with helpful resources. Fluor Field’s concourse will be filled with local organizations helping veteran families throughout the Upstate.
