Authorities said missing man from Anderson was found slain Thursday afternoon in Greenville County.

Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said that the remains of Bobby Shane Harvey were found off Holliday Circle in Pelzer.

Harvey was last seen Sunday from his place of work, All Ride LLC, according to Anderson Police.

Since then, authorities and members of the public have reported a number of startling discoveries.

On Tuesday, friends and family organized a search near Highway 252 and Highway 20 and found the remains of a deceased dog that was later found to have belonged to Harvey. His cell phone was also found in the area.

On Wednesday, Greenville County deputies discovered a burned-out truck that belonged to Harvey along Holland Ford Road.

Greenville County deputies had been working in conjunction with Anderson Police on the case.

On Thursday, Greenville County deputies said the body of an adult male was found along Holliday Circle near the Saluda River. The discovery was made by a drone investigators were using to search the area.

The Anderson County coroner identified the victim as Harvey, and said the death was suspicious in nature.

After an autopsy, Harvey's death was official ruled a homicide. The coroner has not yet released the manner of death.

According to the coroner, Harvey died on the day he went missing.
