'Black Panther' stunt performer Cyrus Birch spoke to students across the Upstate about his journey to the spotlight.

Birch said he hoped his story resonated with students and would allow them "to see themselves beyond where they are."

Birch has also started his own education non-profit called Roses in Concrete. The organization emphasizes fitness and leadership development for students.

“My whole purpose and goal coming to the Upstate was to empower as many youth as I could, to speak to as many on a large or small scale and to provide them hope and let them know that dreams can definitely become a reality," he said.
