The coroner says a 26-year-old man is dead after his vehicle rolled over him in Greer on Thursday.

Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans said Cody Ryan Tellier of Moriah Lane in Greer was pronounced dead at 5:45 p.m. According to Evans, Tellier was working under his pickup truck in the driveway of his home when it rolled over him.

The vehicle came to rest in a neighbor's yard, said Evans.

Tellier was a service technician at Dipple Plumbing Inc. in Greenville. Owner, Charles Dipple said Cody was a great employee and man.

"Just a great kid and a great husband, great father. He did a great job for the company. Did a great job. He got great reviews," explained Dipple, "The customers loved him. Everybody around here loved him. He always had a smile."

Lake Cunningham Fire Department and Greenville County EMS responded to the scene, where Tellier was pronounced dead. An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday.

Dipple Plumbing employees will be collecting donations at 211 North Pleasantburg for those that wish to help the family.

Tellier is survived by his pregnant wife, Sarah, and their 2-year-old daughter Ellie. As a U.S. Marine, he served a tour in Afghanistan.

"He was just such a great guy. It's such a tragedy," said Dipple.
