Troopers said a driver was killed and two juveniles were injured in a crash in Laurens County on Saturday.

The call came in at 8:05 p.m.

Troopers said the crash happened along Fairview Road near Wham Lawn Road.

Troopers said the driver of a 2002 GMC Yukon was traveling north on Fairview Road when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and traveled off the left side of the road, then overcorrected again and traveled back off the right side of the road and into a tree.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and troopers said the two juveniles that were in car seats were injured and transported to Greenville Memorial.

The coroner identified the driver as 33-year-old Douglas E. Hunt II of Fountain Inn. He was pronounced dead at approximately 8:45 p.m. of multiple blunt force trauma.
