Deputies: Man caught on camera stealing phones from store

Deputies in Anderson County said a man took the 'free phone' sign too literally at one mobile phone retailer earlier this month.

Surveillance video released by the Anderson County Sheriff's Office shows a man inside of the Boost Mobile on Highway 28 Bypass.

In the video, the man can be seen snatching seventeen phone in the course of about 20 seconds, before running out. The phones appear in the surveillance video to be of various makes and models.

Deputies indicated the video was taken July 12 just after 6:25am.
