The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office said a man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested after a foot chase.

Deputies said they responded to Culp Street on Tuesday to serve multiple warrants on 26-year-old Christopher Lee Miller. Upon their arrival, deputies said Miller was running away on foot.

Miller apprehended after a brief foot chase and was arrested in the parking lot of the Zaxby's on Asheville Highway, per deputies.

According to the sheriff's office, Miller pulled away from the arresting officer in a violent manner and refused to walk. Deputies said Miller had to be partially carried to the transporting patrol vehicle due to his "erratic and violent actions."

Miller also tried to kick multiple deputies after he was placed in the patrol vehicle, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said Miller was served with two warrants on drug related charges and a warrant on a weapons charge out of Spartanburg County. The sheriff's office said he also had warrants out of Inman for kidnapping and domestic violence first degree.

According to the sheriff's office, additional charges on Miller were made by Inman officers including simple possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
