The Union County Sheriff's Office said two people were taken into custody after flagging down a state trooper during an argument.

A deputy responded to assist a South Carolina state trooper on Furman Fendley Highway around 1 a.m. on Thursday after the trooper said he was flagged down by a male and female arguing over money.

According to the incident report, 30-year-old Kimberly Moore told the trooper 65-year-old Robert William Sartor Jr. owed her money for prostitution. Deputies said Sartor admitted to getting a hotel room and offering Moore $150, but said she owed him money for driving her around.

The incident report states that Sartor was not wearing underwear and had an item of a sexual nature in his pocket.

Both Moore and Sartor were arrested and charged with prostitution, first offense.
