Deputies say 15-year-old student charged after making threat to Greenville Co. school


Deputies said a 15-year-old student was charged with disturbing schools after making a threat on Thursday.

Officials with Greenville County Sheriff's Office said a student overheard another student making a threat at Blue Ridge High School, and reported it to administration.

Administration at the school then reported it to Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

The student was arrested Friday at the school.

The school district said the student has been suspended.

Additional School Resource Officers were also on campus Friday, as a precaution.
