Donald Trump made a surprise stop at Tommy’s Country Ham House in Greenville Tuesday morning to fuel up before continuing his campaign swing in other parts of South Carolina ahead of the Republican primary.

During the breakfast visit, that most pressing of questions was answered: What does “The Donald” dine on for breakfast?

Turned out the GOP presidential hopeful powered up on protein ahead of busy day of campaigning and traveling.

Workers at Tommy’s said the presidential candidate enjoyed eggs, bacon, and the restaurant’s homemade sausage. Most of the campaign staff opted for omelets.

FOX Carolina reporter Ashley Minelli spoke with Trump briefly while he breakfasted and streamed the encounter via Facebook Live.

Trump joked that she was an 'aggressive reporter.'

Trump spoke about enjoying the food at Tommy's and getting a chance to get to know the people of South Carolina.

Afterwards, Trump spoke with supporters and took photos with them before heading off for Aiken, SC for his next speaking engagement.
