SC Highway Patrol Trooper Daniel Keith Rebman Jr. was laid to rest on Sunday.

Memorial arrangements were announced on Mackey Mortuary's website on Thursday.

Rebman was tragically killed in a crash along I-385 on Tuesday after his patrol vehicle was struck from behind by a pickup truck.

Trooper Rebman was an active member at Morningside Baptist Church. Church members will honor the fallen officer by lighting its steeple in blue Friday evening through Monday evening. The church will also collect financial gifts to benefit Trooper Rebman’s wife, Michelle, and their three young daughters. A visitation was held Saturday in the War Memorial Chapel at Bob Jones University.

Morningside Baptist Church invited the public to attend a funeral service for Trooper Rebman on Sunday. The service took place at the Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium at Bob Jones University at 2 p.m. followed by a burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The church is canceled its annual Fall Carnival previously scheduled for Sunday evening, as well as all Sunday evening services.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Assistance Program (SCLEAP) has established a GoFundMe account in honor of Trooper Rebman. That account can be found here.
