Firefighters responded to a house fire in Anderson County Tuesday afternoon.
The Centerville Fire Department worked the blaze on the 300 block of Monti Drive. The call came in around 5:10 p.m.
Per the assistant fire chief, no one was inside the home at the time of the fire, however, a cat was recovered from inside the home and resuscitated.
The home belongs to a husband, wife and their three kids. No injuries were reported.
The chief said the fire was contained to the front living room area, but the home is deemed a total loss due to smoke and heat damage.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
