Fire officials said crews responded to a fire in southern Greenville County Thursday evening.

Crews were on scene of a fire on Cobb Road.

The call came in around 5:15 p.m.

According to fire crews on scene, the fire started in a pit, then blew into a large pile of pallets. The fire burned the trailer of an 18-wheeler and the outside of a metal structure, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No injures have been reported.
