The South Carolina Attorney General's Office said Upstate authorities arrested a North Carolina man accused of soliciting a child.

Investigators said 30-year-old Anthony Jacob Anderson of Swannanoa engaged in sexually explicit conversations with a victim who is a minor.

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office who are part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Anderson with help from the Mauldin Police Department and Buncombe County officials.

Anderson is charged with criminal solicitation of a minor and could face up to 10 years in prison.
