LEGO artists from around the world are headed to South Carolina

The BrickUniverse LEGO Convention is headed to South Carolina, and with it, some of the most renown LEGO artists in the world. The convention is featuring award-winning LEGO artists from Chicago, Canada, and San Diego.

Attendees of the show will be able to see over 40 massive LEGO models of world famous landmarks crafted by Rocco Buttliere. His work has been exhibited across the United States, and internationally in England, Scotland, Denmark, and Norway.

Paul Hetherington will be bringing all five of his Brickcon best in show displays. With over three million views on Youtube his Joker Funhouse LEGO creation will be on display at the show, along with his Gotham Theater which was named LEGO Creation of the Year 2016 by the Brothers-Brick.

Jonathan Lopes, known for his realistic urban landscapes will be bringing over 40 different displays of his LEGO artwork.

Attendees will be able to meet the artists and see their creations up close. Other BrickUniverse attractions include the building zone and brick merchants.

Tickets are available for $15 and kids two and under are free. The show will be August 11 and August 12 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center
