On Tuesday ACS Manufacturing announced plans to establish new manufacturing operations in Abbeville County.
The $6 million investment in a 141,000 square-foot facility on Cambridge Street Extension is expected to create more than 150 new jobs over the course of five years.
ACS Manufacturing, which manufactures acoustical equipment, said the Abbeville plant should be online by the third quarter of 2018. Interested applicants can click here to apply.
"South Carolina’s workforce continues to show that it can produce high-quality products," said Governor Henry McMaster. "ACS Manufacturing’s decision to establish operations in Abbeville County is a testament to that, and I look forward to watching all that the local workers will achieve in the years ahead.”
