'It's a miracle': Upstate woman on way to church buys last Extreme Millions scratch-off, wins jackpot

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is making churches aware after incidents involving two people disrupting services.

According to the statement released by the agency to the director of missions for Beaver Dam Baptist Association, deputies received reports of two men disrupting the last three services at Tabernacle of the Lord Church on Highway 24. The men were reportedly asked to leave.

The agency said the two have also caused problems at some churches in Georgia. The deputy who handles church security for the Oconee County Sheriff's Office was notified and a patrol request was put in for Tabernacle of the Lord.

"Please make churches aware of what is going on should these two individuals show up at their churches," Public information officer Jimmy Watt said in the statement. "Of course, should there be any problems, tell the churches to contact their local law enforcement agencies in their jurisdiction immediately."
