Residents in northern Pickens County should expect some scheduled power outages on Friday.

Officials with Pickens County Emergency Management and area power companies said that Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the northern half of the county will be without power.

Officials wanted to get the word out especially for those who use medical equipment.
