Greenville police said three people are in custody and a fourth man is being sought after a chase and manhunt on Thursday.

Officers said it all started with a call around 6 p.m. about a forgery incident at the bank of Travelers Rest on Pelham Road.

Police say they began pursuing a suspect vehicle at E North and Pelham Commons. The suspect vehicle was later abandoned at a medical complex on Creek View Court near Frontage Road and Patewood Drive.

Police say the initial suspect vehicle was a stolen Mercedes.

Officers said after the suspects took off on foot, they tried to rob someone outside of Bucks Racks and Ribs. Police said one of the suspects tried getting inside the vehicle, but was unsuccessful, and then took off on foot into the woods. Police responded to the club to interview the victim.

The owner of Bucks Racks & Ribs, Curtis Wise, noted that the detainees and situation were completely unrelated to his business.

A large perimeter was set up to search for the suspects in the area. Our FOX Carolina crew on scene witnessed officers detaining a young female that walked out of the woods.

Officers confirmed shortly before 7 p.m. that a man and woman were detained at Patewood Medical, where they were hiding in the ER lobby. The woman was the driver of the stolen Mercedes, said police.

Police said a female suspect was found hiding under some brush in the woods behind an empty grocery store on Roper Mountain Road, after K9 officers Rocky and Saber tracked her scent.

Police identified the captured suspects as Jeremiah Dean, Meghan Seely, and Kayla Littleton. All three have been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and additional charges are pending.
