Publix to open store in Seneca

Publix announced the opening of its first-ever store in Seneca.

The grocery store will be located at 115 Rochester Highway at the Seneca 130 Plaza.

A Bi-Lo currently occupies the new store's location.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to bring Publix to Seneca. Our associates are champions at bringing the Publix culture and service to new areas, and we look forward to building strong relationships within this community," said CEO and President Todd Jones.

A grand opening date has not been announced.
