One of the largest churches in the Upstate will officially have a new leader beginning next week.

Redemption/Relentless Churches announced that Apostle Ron Carpenter will officially handoff the church to Pastor John Gray on Sunday, May 6.

The service will be at 11 a.m.

Carpenter announced back in December that he and his wife, Hope, would be stepping down from the Greenville campus and moving their Redemption ministry to the west coast.

Carpenter will be taking over Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, California.

Gray, who served as an associate pastor at Lakewood Church, Joel Osteen’s church in Houston, TX, will now lead the Upstate ministry as Relentless Church.

Relentless Church has an official countdown clock to their first official service on its website.
