15 students now charged after burglary, vandalism at high school

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson said an Easley man has been arrested on child pornography charges.

The Attorney General's office said 27-year-old Brandon Michael Cox was charged with criminal solicitation of a minor, attempted promoting prostitution of a minor and one count of attempted participation in the prostitution of a minor.

According to the Attorney General's office, Cox engaged in sexually explicit communication and encouraged someone he thought was a minor to engage in prostitution.

The Internet crimes Against Children Task Force investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office made the arrest on Thursday.

Cox faces up to 30 years in prison.
