On the weekends: I love to meet new people around the community. If you see me around town reporting, come up and say hello! If I’m not working, I love yoga classes, hiking & trying new restaurants with friends.
My favorite movie is: Not sure I can choose one! “The Holiday,” if I have to choose.
My favorite kind of music: I’ll listen to anything I can dance to. Despite being a northerner, I love Country music!
Favorite food: Pizza and anything Italian!
Hidden talents: I used to be a competitive dancer.
Hobbies: Cooking (trying to work on that), Dancing, watching football, shopping!
Most memorable story: It’s a toss up between two. Covering Ferguson and seeing the NAACP march into the capitol to peacefully protest after the riots in St. Louis. Something I will never forget.
I also got to interview world-renowned primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall. It was an honor to sit down with her one on one and hear about her life story and journey with animals.
