A large law enforcement presence was outside a home in Spartanburg County where a homicide occurred on Tuesday.
Multiple deputies with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office were on scene of a residence that was taped off on Tamara Way.
Deputies said they received a call around 4 p.m. regarding a shooting and when they arrived on scene, they found a person deceased with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Sheriff Chuck Wright said the body of 37-year-old Temisha Collier-McClintock was found in the doorway of the home.
Deputies found her face down in a pool of blood with multiple shell casings surrounding her.
Wright said they are signing warrants charging her husband, 40-year-old Adrian D. McClintock, with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. McClintock may be driving a 2010 black Chevy Camaro with tag #PDY259. He was last seen wearing a white tank top.
Wright said the victim has a child, who was not home at the time of the homicide.
"Pray for that baby," Wright said. “Please pray for that family – both sides. They’ve got two loved ones in trouble.”
Wright said McClintock should be considered armed and dangerous. According to a background check, he has a lengthy criminal record including charges for possession of a sawed-off shotgun, assault and battery, domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, driving under suspension and burglary.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office is investigating.
Deputies said Wednesday that McClintock was still on the run. They ask anyone who sees him to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger said his office is still investigating whether or not the victim and suspect were married, however some relatives and Facebook accounts claimed the two had been married within the past several weeks.
An autopsy on Wednesday confirmed Temisha's cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and back. The case has officially been ruled a homicide.
